Weekly Weigh In
for my loyal readers - a Weight Watchers updatei was down 1 pound last night for a total of 47.4 pounds lost since June.I can't help thinking (i'm feeling kind of blah about myself lately) that people must look at me and think "man. . she lost 47 pounds and *STILL* looks like that. . . wow. . ." :(ugh...just me being stupid i guess. . but i can't help it....but. . .a loss is a loss. . even if it's only a pound.

OMG he was amazing we had SUCH a good time!!!i've seen billy before but he was BETTER than he was the last time i saw himour seats were awesome. . they were up in the balcony but to billy's left right at the side of the stage and in the first row of the balcony. . .awesome awesome awesomehe sang a LOT of stuff that you don't regularly hear - kwim?? and then of course he sang his "usuals" between songs he'd just talk to the audience. .which was VERY cool. . it felt VERY intimate!!!if you're interested here's the songs he played (also getting them down for journaling i'm going to do ):AllentownNY state of mindmovin' outriver of dreamspressurezanzibargoodnight saigoni go to extremesthe ballad of billy the kidthe great wall of chinathe night is still youngkeeping the faithprelude/angry young manyou may be rightbig shotit's still rock n' roll to mewe didn't start the fire (my FAVORITE song. .)she's always a woman (another of my favorites and before he started playing he's like. .we haven't played this one in a LONG time. . ROFL)oh and he sang a tribute song for wilson pickett who died the day of the concerthis encore was: only the good die young, scenes from an italian restaurnant and piano manit was 2.5 hours of non-stop MUSIC. . . totally unbelievable, worth every penny. . i'm astounded by how much ENERGY he has!!! the coolest moment of the entire show for me was during the last chorus of piano man he stopped singing and the band stopped playing and it was just the Garden full of fans singing the chorus of the song. . . amazing. . he looked all around with this HUGE smile on his face. . .i can't imagine that feeling EVER gets old!!i'm so mad i didn't bring my camera. . but the tickets said no cameras and i really didn't want to risk itbut i'm SO mad i didn't b/c a TON of people had them!!
oh well!!
Tonight's the night!!!
We're seeing Billy Joel tonight!!! woo hoo:) :) :)it was John's BIG Christmas present from me. .and we're both so excited!! I've actually seen him before but John never has. .so it should be A LOT of fun :) and dinner out at Boston Beer Works First :) :) (John's choice of course :) )oh and ps - down 3.8 pounds at WW last night. . total 46 point something :)WOOT :) i rock!!
