Scarlett Johansson will play Mary Boleyn opposite Natalie Portman and Eric Bana in The Other Boleyn Girl. The story centers on two ferociously ambitious sisters, Mary and Anne Boleyn, who were rivals for the bed and heart of King Henry VIII. Portman and Johansson will star as the sisters, with Bana playing the King. Shooting begins this Fall in London.
i think Scarlett Johannsson is too pretty to be Mary. . i mean. . i'm sure they'll make her more plain. . but i always got that Mary was "pleasant" looking. . just not striking. . and Scarlett is. ..
hmmm i just hope they don't butcher that book. .i truly love it. . i've read it at LEAST 6 times!

I had no idea they were making it into a movie. I can't see Natalie Portman as Anne!
